Team Leader / Project Manager

Lance Nagata, team leader and project manager, has more than 14 years of experience in the production and management of point of purchase (POP), tradeshow, permanent and temporary retail displays. Having worked in several positions during his industry tenure, Lance has a unique blend of attention to detail, creative design and project management skills that have led to his success. He is also experienced in engineering and design, three-dimensional computer-aided design and procurement.

Lance joined OSI in 2009. As team leader and project manager, he works to maintain the high level of quality and service expected by both internal and external customers. As team leader, Lance supervises OSI project managers to ensure their actions reflect OSI’s core values and procedures. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, Lance helps to provide solutions that improve service as well as growth in market share.

Lance began his career working at Federal Express at Long Beach Airport, near his childhood home in Fountain Valley, Calif. In his position as a ramp agent, he learned the value of processes and procedures, as well as the vital role they play in overall timing. Through this experience, Lance learned to successfully lead his team in loading aircrafts in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment. His ability to pay close attention to detail and make decisions quickly were essential to ensuring the safety of the flight crew and the customers’ freight.

Lance earned his bachelor’s degree in fine arts from California State University, Long Beach, with an emphasis on production in various mediums.

Away from the office, Lance enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs. Whenever he has a free moment, Lance likes to take advantage of all that the great outdoors has to offer including fishing, hiking and traveling. Most of all, he loves sharing new food venues with his friends and family.
