President and Chief Executive Officer
Joe Baksha, president and chief executive officer, has more than 35 years of experience in executive positions at the helm of companies providing supply chain management solutions for displays, promotions and consumer products, as well as printing and packaging. His competency drives operational turnaround and growth through enhanced productivity, mergers and acquisitions. This strength has also gained him the reputation of an accomplished business development strategist with a record of success in optimizations, new business launches and international marketing.
In 2010, Joe assumed the role of president and CEO of OSI. He is responsible for the company’s financial performance, strategic planning, product development and marketing. At the very core of his success is a powerful blend of marketing techniques, sales and human resources management that have enabled OSI to double in size over the past three years.
Prior to joining OSI, Joe served as CEO of Outlook Group Corp., providing supply chain management solutions for printing, packaging and direct mail. In this position, he took the company from an operating loss and positioned it for a highly profitable sale at four times its lowest market capitalization, effectively privatizing the company. His career also includes positions as Executive Vice President and COO of U.S. Music Corporation and Allusuisse Flexible Packaging, where his expertise in driving growth in market share, revenue and profitability led to notable successes at both companies.
Joe earned a bachelor of science in business administration degree in operations management from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.
Born and raised in Chicago, Joe began his career in the printing industry at the age of 12, working at his father’s Chicago-based printing company. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lyn, their three children and nine grandchildren. He is an active community leader, avid ballroom dancer and accomplished musician. Joe has also served on the boards of several community, charity and business organizations.
